Managed Work®

Expediter’s Managed Work® program offers employers the opportunity to help their employees to become productive again, regardless of the restrictions injury or disability have caused. By utilizing break-through vocational technologies and innovative consultation resources, Expediter can dramatically reduce a worker’s lost time by guaranteeing gainful employment in most cases. In fact, we can accommodate 98% of workers - no matter what their injury or location - while providing the employer with risk management and worker’s compensation savings.

Managed Work is successful because it provides a unique transitional return to work that can accommodate virtually any injury. By designing customized programs enabling injured or disabled personnel to continue to work productively for their time-of-injury employer, Managed Work provides solutions for workers ranging from those with simple strains and sprains to quadriplegics. Regardless of the injured worker’s education or skill level, he or she can benefit from our sub-sedentary telework positions, which offer the flexibility of working from home and varying, accommodating work hours.

The advantages of telework are widespread. Not only is the individual able to overcome injury or disability by getting back to work quickly, but he or she also learns that injury and disability do not equal time off, but rather productivity.

Managed Work gives employers the tools and flexibility necessary to find the best solutions in each case, while providing levels of control, savings, and quick response never before available with a return-to-work service provider. Our management consultants will work with your team of human resources and management professionals to determine how your organization’s and worker’s needs can best be met. We then provide you with a unique, personalized approach to allow your injured or disabled employees to work productively for you, either from their own homes or on site. Plus, we take the time to ensure that all physical and mental constraints are considered, as well as any union issues that could arise before the employee gets back to work.

Managed Work also gives the employer the flexibility of managing employees directly or allowing our highly-trained management team to implement and run the program.
